Sunday Funday!!

Today was a blast!  And it's only 2PM CST!!
Last night the hub bub had a man sleep over at his BFF's house.  So this morning me and the boys (The girl is over at the G-Rents b/c the boys got sick on Friday and we were trying avoid her getting sick too!) piled up in the van and took a mini road trip up to west Houston.  Just in case you don't know... it's about 90 mins from our house.
We got our precious cargo and headed out to an awesome breakfast at the IHOP.  While at breakfast I mentioned I saw a funny store driving called Sun's Club.  It had really pretty red lanterns hanging from it and thought it might be fun to stop by.  I, of course just wanted to go to see what kind of stationary and washi tapes they had.  /giggle The hub bub was excited about it and 5 mins later we were at the Oriental Food Market area and it was a BLAST!!  It was so awesome in there.  We even tried to make it educational for the boys.
The hub bub got a great idea... lets make pho for dinner!  So off we went to get noodles and items to make a stock.
Once I walked around and realized I didn't see any washi tape it was time to go.  On the ride back south I was reading up on pho and realized I needed meat!  The hubs remembered of a another oriental food market, which is a lot closer to our area.  We headed there and got the rest of our fun pho food needs and went next door for some BOBA TEA!!

Mango Green Tea Boba is pretty awesome!  The boys got a strawberry smoothie and it was totally yummy!  I actually finished it off when they had their full.
I only wish we had our girl to enjoy our lil journey!  Tho I think next weekend we might do it again and explore more of the stores at the food market by the loop.  It was so much fun we might even make it a weekly/bi weekly thing!!

Happy Birthday Jess!!

Today is a very special birthday... a dear friend of mine Jess is celebrating her awesomeness!!  Happy Birthday Momma!!!!  And it just so happens that she is the brains behind the totally awesome card challenge group Card Makin' Mamas!  She is so great with all that she does on the blog and the challenges and getting prizes and well... she is totally the bee's knees!!

Good News!!!

Not only am I super duper clumsy... just look at all the bruises I have... all the time... no matter what time of year it is or time of day.  Yes, I'm a hot mess and I'm a lil proud of it.  But I'm also SUPER forgetful!  EEEP!  I really try not to be.  I like to write things down and tape them all over the house.  Esp by the computer since I'm here most of the day.  So it's no wonder that it's now a full week into Feb and I totally forgot about TWO publications online that some of my artwork has been featured in!

And then over at ScrapnArt.com to see the mixed media project I did a few months back.  It's so excited to have that up somewhere as it's very new to me... you know... the mixed media thing.  Not gluing tho... I'm an expert with a doctorate in adhering crap!  Dr. Lizzie of Glueology (light bulb) I'm totally going to make something for my craft room now that says that!
And another awesome fun thing about the ScrapnArt publication... I'm on the front page of the website!

That might not be excited to some of you paper crafting vets out there... but to me?  ZOMG I'm grinning from ear to ear!  That's just beyond awesome!  WOOOOO!!!!!! /dance /cheer /smile
Okay... enough with my gloating... but I am excited that I remembered that I was published b/4 the month was up!  I think that deserves a cookie all on it's own!!

For the love of PINK!

I am very happy to announce something that has been a dream of mine for the longest time.  As a lot of crafters have the same dream... and it's truly amazing to say that a dream of mine has come true.  I can check this off my 29 before 29 list and my list of life goals... I'm so excited!  And I couldn't be apart of a better company!
Yes I said COMPANY!  As I am not on the design team for Tickled Pink Stamps.  That's right dudes and dudettes... I'm officially a PINK LADY!  Do you know how excited I am?  I am over the freaking moon!  I've known for a few days but wanted to keep it hush hush until I knew it was official!
